Reading Magazines for Creative Ideas

Reading magazines for creative ideas - The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read. - Mark Twain

As easy as it is to read blogs and e-books, sometimes it’s nice to have a hard copy to hold in your hands and read. While any kind of reading can spark creativity, magazines have current content and many have fresh ideas from other people that can spark ideas for you too.

Reading for Ideas

This week, find five magazines at a local bookstore or library that you wouldn’t normally read and browse through one a day. Look for creative things that other people are doing or stories that interest you. You can purchase the magazine or read it in the bookstore/library for a change of scenery. Purchase a subscription to the one’s you think are interesting or beneficial.
